LOCATION OF THE UNIVERSITY
The sponsors of Abasy felt the dire need of establishing a University at Peshawar, which could cater to the needs of youth, both male and female, of a vast population running into many millions, belonging to Peshawar district itself as well as students from the adjoining districts of Nowshera, Mardan, Charsadda, Kohat and the adjoining tribal areas. This was particularly essential in view of the fact that, except Peshawar municipal limits, there is no other University in the areas mentioned above and the prospective students of these areas have, per force, to get enrolled in universities far away from their home towns, also spending lot of money on food and residence. They have now a very easy access to Abasyn University, which is at the confluence of Motor Way - Peshawar Ring Road, where the students of these areas can reach the University in about thirty minute’s time through commuters plying on these routes.
